October is a fantastic month to visit Bordeaux. We hit the region on the last days of harvest, fermentation in the air every place we went.
Very first day we had dinner on the top of the newly constructed La Cité du Vin wine museum with the sun setting over Bordeaux city. Over the next 3 days we visited 8 wineries, or Chateau to be proper, and tasted numerous wines. We had such a Grape time, with the absolute highlight of a Sauternes paired lunch at Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey!
